Here we go again! It’s time to see which songs have dominated Spotify this week.
Taylor Swift continues to dominate global streaming as the holiday season reaches its peak. The pop superstar extends her perfect run at No. 1 on Spotify’s Weekly Global Songs Chart, with “The Fate of Ophelia” spending an impressive eleventh consecutive week at the summit. The track leads her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, and has proven remarkably resilient, even as Christmas music floods playlists worldwide.
The chart’s latest update highlights the annual seasonal shift in listener behavior. Wham!’s enduring holiday staple “Last Christmas” surges to No. 2, overtaking Mariah Carey’s perennial favorite “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which settles at No. 3.
On the artist side, the rankings tell a slightly different story. Bad Bunny overtakes Swift to claim No. 1 on Spotify’s Weekly Global Artist Chart.
Meanwhile, holiday albums continue to thrive. Michael Bublé’s Christmas emerges as the most-streamed album globally for the week ending December 18.
