Taylor Swift continues to make chart history. Her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, spends a fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 146,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending October 30. With this milestone, Swift becomes the first solo artist ever to achieve 90 total weeks at No. 1 across her career — extending her already record-breaking reign on the chart.
The Life of a Showgirl is only the second album in 2025 to spend its first month atop the Billboard 200, following Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which opened with eight weeks at No. 1 earlier this year. Swift’s achievement follows the success of her 2024 juggernaut The Tortured Poets Department, which spent 17 weeks at the top, including a 12-week debut streak.

The record also cements her place among the chart’s all-time greats. Only The Beatles surpass Swift’s totals, with 132 cumulative weeks at No. 1 and 19 No. 1 albums, compared to Swift’s 90 weeks and 15 chart-topping releases. Among soloists, Elvis Presley trails behind with 67 weeks.
Beyond Swift’s achievement, the Billboard 200 saw several major debuts. Daniel Caesar’s Son of Spergy entered at No. 4, marking the R&B artist’s first top 10 appearance and best sales week to date. Meanwhile, Brandi Carlile earned her fifth top 10 album with Returning to Myself, debuting at No. 7 thanks to strong physical sales, and Demi Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep opened at No. 9, continuing her streak of 10 top 10 albums.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack holds steady at No. 2, and Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend remains a strong seller at No. 5.
