Taylor Swift continues to rewrite Billboard history. Her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, has earned a 10th nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, dated December 27, marking yet another career-defining milestone for the global superstar. The album pulled in 104,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the tracking week ending December 18.
According to Billboard, the renewed surge was driven largely by strong physical sales, fueled by new vinyl variants released exclusively through Swift’s official webstore. With this achievement, Swift becomes the first woman—and only the third act overall—to have at least four albums spend 10 or more weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. She joins an elite group that includes The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Previously, Swift reached the 10-week benchmark with Fearless, 1989, and The Tortured Poets Department, the latter of which dominated the chart for 17 weeks in 2024.
Notably, The Life of a Showgirl also marks Swift’s first time landing back-to-back full-length albums with 10-plus weeks at No. 1. Only a select group of artists in chart history—including Adele, Whitney Houston, Morgan Wallen, and The Monkees—have achieved consecutive long-running chart leaders.
Elsewhere on the latest Billboard 200, Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem holds steady at No. 2, while 21 Savage debuts at No. 3 with WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?, earning his seventh top 10 project.
