As we enter the final month of summer, it’s time to look back at the music that shaped last July. Over the past few weeks, we witnessed the return of BLACKPINK, who launched the Deadline World Tour and then released the hit single “Jump,” their first new music in three years. Chappell Roan finally unveiled “The Subway,” a track she first debuted live in 2024. Originally slated to arrive shortly after “The Giver,” the song was eventually delayed. We also enjoyed the release of Tyla’s WWP, a summer-ready mixtape packed with bangers.
As tradition dictates, each month InMusic selects sixteen new songs and invites fans to vote for their favorites through an Instagram poll. “The Subway” emerged as the winner, beating BLACKPINK’s “Jump.” After tallying votes from each round, we’ve compiled the top 16 songs of July 2025.
