Six years later, Travis Scott is bringing the JackBoys back. JackBoys 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the 2019 collaborative album from Cactus Jack Records, is officially set to drop on July 13, 2025, via Cactus Jack and Epic Records. The album will include 17 tracks and feature an all-star lineup of artists, both from within and outside the Cactus Jack label.
Led by Travis Scott, the JackBoys collective now includes Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, SoFaygo, Wallie the Sensei, and DJ Chase B. This sequel builds on their early success with a broader scope, genre-bending energy, and a deeper roster of collaborators. Among the confirmed guest appearances are 21 Savage, Vybz Kartel, Kodak Black, Tyla, GloRilla, Waka Flocka Flame, and SahBabii—making JackBoys 2 one of 2025’s most anticipated hip-hop releases. From Hype to Drop: The Build-Up
The road to JackBoys 2 began as early as December 2023, when Scott hinted at the project during a casual fan interaction. More formal teasers soon followed—including a cryptic building projection in Hong Kong, new singles, and high-profile live performances. Scott used Coachella 2025 and various club shows to preview tracks like “Kick Out” and “Dumb,” while Sheck Wes and Don Toliver added fuel to the hype with their own singles, “ILMB” and “FWU,” respectively.
In early July, featured artists like Kodak Black and GloRilla confirmed their appearances by posting in front of custom gray Lamborghinis branded with the JackBoys 2 logo—gifts from Scott himself. On July 8, Scott dropped an exclusive music video for “2000 Excursion,” and by July 10, the release date, cover art.
