Tyler, The Creator delivered a commanding and electric performance as he headlined Day 1 of Camp Flog Gnaw 2025. As the festival’s founder and creative architect, he has transformed the event into a benchmark for artistry and fandom, and his return to the main Camp stage on Saturday, November 22, reaffirmed his place as one of music’s most inventive performers.
The hour-long set showcased Tyler’s meticulous attention to detail. He built the show around high-production visuals, sharp lighting design, and his signature cargo-container stage prop — now a recurring symbol of his evolving live aesthetic. He also recreated his Fortnite emote.

Opening with “Pig Poe,” Tyler drew heavily from CHROMAKOPIA, his acclaimed 2024 album, weaving in standout cuts like “St. Chroma,” “Darling, I,” and “Sticky.” He balanced these with fan-favorite classics, from the emotional pull of “ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?” to the chaos of “NEW MAGIC WAND.” Beyond his own set, Tyler surprised the crowd by appearing during Clipse’s (Pusha T and No Malice) performance on the Flog stage.

This year’s festival was originally scheduled for November 15–16 but was postponed due to severe atmospheric river storms that brought torrential rain across Los Angeles. Organizers chose to reschedule to November 22–23 to prioritize safety and preserve the festival’s production quality. The shift did little to dampen excitement: Day 1 also featured standout sets from Don Toliver, Childish Gambino, Tems, GloRilla, and Clipse.
