Zayn Malik officially launched his first-ever Las Vegas residency on Tuesday night. Performing at Dolby Live at Park MGM, the singer debuted five unreleased songs, revisited key moments from his solo catalog, and closed with the career-defining “Pillowtalk.”

The residency spans seven dates across two weeks, with shows scheduled for January 20, 21, 24, 25, 28, 30, and 31. From the outset, Malik made it clear that this chapter would be defined by presence. Despite battling a sinus infection, he remained committed to the stage. “My throat’s dry, but we’re here. No cancellation,” he told the crowd.

Unlike his previous Stairway to the Sky Tour, which faced several postponements due to vocal strain, the Las Vegas opener felt deliberate and controlled. Five new songs were woven into the set, offering an early glimpse at a forthcoming album he has confirmed is currently in progress.

The setlist moved fluidly through eras, pulling from Mind of Mine, Icarus Falls, Nobody Is Listening, and Room Under the Stairs.

The residency arrives shortly after the conclusion of The Stairway to the Sky Tour, which ran from November 2024 through March 2025 and marked Malik’s return to live performance after years away from touring. In recent interviews, he has described the Las Vegas shows as a space to experiment, refine, and introduce new music without the pressure of a full-scale tour rollout.
