Jay-Z closed out his JAŸ-Z 30 concert series at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on October 24, with a 90-minute performance that brought together generations of hip-hop history. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg joined him for a medley of West Coast classics, while Too $hort made an early appearance during a set built around Jay-Z’s catalog, landmark collaborations and tributes to the late Nipsey Hussle.
Taking the stage around 9:25 p.m. in a New York Yankees cap and sunglasses, Jay-Z opened with “The Watcher 2” before transitioning into Too $hort’s “Blow the Whistle.” The Oakland rapper joined him onstage, setting a distinctly West Coast tone for the final show of the anniversary series.

The night’s biggest guest moment arrived when Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg appeared for a run of classics that included “Murder Was the Case,” “The Next Episode,” “California Love,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” The three artists shared verses and hooks, bringing some of hip-hop’s most recognizable records to a stadium audience.
Jay-Z also continued his tribute to Nipsey Hussle, whose image appeared on the screens during a sequence connecting “Hussle & Motivate” with “Hard Knock Life.” The performance incorporated the instrumental of Nipsey’s “Last Time That I Checc’d” into “On to the Next One,” offering a tribute that linked the late Los Angeles rapper’s legacy with Jay-Z’s own catalog.
Closing with “Encore,” he addressed online speculation about attendance, pushing back against claims that the stadium had not sold out or that tickets had been given away. “People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes. You can see… You gotta question everything,” he told the audience before thanking fans for making the night special.
The October 24 performance brought the JAŸ-Z 30 series to a close after a year celebrating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the broader catalog that followed. Scroll down to see the full setlist from Jay-Z’s final JAŸ-Z 30 show at SoFi Stadium.
