Jay-Z is set to headline two stadium shows at Yankee Stadium this July, as Roc Nation announced “two historic nights” celebrating Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. The concerts are scheduled for Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, under the revived “JAŸ-Z” moniker tied to his ongoing anniversary campaign.
The twin bill positions two of his most influential albums at the center of a large-scale live return. Originally released in 1996, Reasonable Doubt introduced Jay-Z’s sharply detailed storytelling and has since become a cornerstone of East Coast hip-hop, despite peaking at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. Fifteen years later, The Blueprint arrived in September 2001 and debuted at No. 1.
Momentum around the shows has been building since late February, when Jay-Z released the original version of “Dead Presidents” on streaming platforms for the first time. That drop launched a broader 30th-anniversary rollout for Reasonable Doubt, including limited-edition physical formats distributed through his direct-to-consumer platform. At the same time, he reinstated the stylized “JAŸ-Z” name, reinforcing the archival focus of the campaign.
Another key moment arrives earlier in the summer. Jay-Z is already confirmed to headline the 2026 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30, sharing a stage with The Roots for the first time in more than a decade. That booking alone has triggered speculation about new material, given the length of his recording hiatus.
His last solo studio album, 4:44, was released in June 2017 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 262,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week. The project became his 14th chart-topper and later reached 2× Platinum certification in the United States. Touring activity slowed shortly after, following the $48.7 million-grossing 4:44 Tour and the joint On the Run II Tour with Beyoncé in 2018.
