Kanye West’s Bully was expected to arrive on March 27, 2026, but the album has not officially dropped on major streaming platforms. Instead, the rollout has taken another unconventional turn, leaving fans searching for the project across DSPs without success.

Despite earlier confirmations pointing to a full release via YZY and Gamma, Bully premiered through a YouTube livestream shortly after midnight, accompanied by listening events in select cities. The album is currently only accessible through that initial broadcast, with no uploads on Spotify, Apple Music, or other platforms as of March 27. Pre-save links that surfaced earlier in the week have either been removed or remain inactive.

This fragmented debut aligns with West’s recent rollout strategy. On March 18, he shared three unfinished versions of Bully via X, each featuring alternate tracklists and arrangements. Those drops were paired with Bully V1, a short film edited by Hype Williams and centered on a surreal narrative starring his son Saint.

Delays have defined the album’s timeline for nearly a year. First announced in September 2024 with an initial June 15, 2025 release date, Bully was repeatedly pushed back to July 25, September 26, November 7, December 12, January 30, March 20, and ultimately March 27, 2026. Earlier this week, three global listening events scheduled for March 26 were postponed, suggesting last-minute revisions were still underway.

Artificial intelligence has been another focal point of the project’s development. Early iterations included AI-generated vocals designed to replicate West’s voice, a decision he defended publicly by comparing it to the creative use of Auto-Tune. Backlash intensified after a vinyl rip surfaced online on March 24, reportedly still containing AI elements. Within hours, West responded by sharing an updated tracklist and confirming plans to remove AI entirely, promising re-recorded vocals for the final version.

The current state of Bully leaves its official release timeline uncertain. While fans have heard a version of the album through livestreams, its absence from streaming platforms signals that the project may still be in flux.
