Quavo and Offset have taken a visible step forward in their long-anticipated reunion, appearing together on Migos’ official Instagram account for the first time since March 2022. The post, shared on May 5, features a series of studio photos, marking the first group-related social media activity in more than four years.
The images arrive just days after both artists were spotted working together in the studio, signaling a renewed creative connection following years of distance. In footage and photos circulating online, Offset is seen recording in a red-lit booth while Quavo stands nearby at the controls, with additional shots showing the pair side by side in a private session. The setting, paired with the timing of the official Migos post, has fueled immediate speculation about new material.
This moment carries added weight given the group’s history. Migos—originally comprised of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff—defined a generation of hip-hop throughout the 2010s with chart-dominating hits such as “Bad and Boujee” and “Stir Fry.” Their last full-length release, Culture III, dropped on June 11, 2021, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and closing out the group’s Culture trilogy. Plans for future collaborations were disrupted following the tragic death of Takeoff in November 2022, an event that also deepened tensions between the remaining members.
Signs of reconciliation began to surface in 2025, when both artists publicly acknowledged efforts to rebuild their personal relationship before revisiting music. Offset hinted at the possibility of working together again, emphasizing that repairing their bond came first.
Fan reaction has been immediate and intense, with many interpreting the post as a precursor to a larger announcement. Some have pointed toward the possibility of a tribute project honoring Takeoff, while others see it as the beginning of a broader Migos revival.
