Rick Ross is officially returning with his first solo album in five years. On May 8, the Miami rap heavyweight announced Set In Stone, his 12th studio album, scheduled for release on June 12, 2026 through Maybach Music Group under exclusive license to Gamma.

The announcement arrives alongside striking cover art that leans fully into Ross’ long-established luxury mythology. Styled like a marble monument, the artwork depicts the rapper draped in a fur coat and layered diamond jewelry, reinforcing the larger-than-life persona that has defined his catalog since Port of Miami nearly two decades ago. The project will include 19 tracks, with “Minks in Miami” featuring French Montana and Max B already positioned as an early centerpiece of the rollout.

Set In Stone marks Ross’ first solo LP since Richer Than I Ever Been, released in December 2021. That album debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 and featured an expansive guest list including Future, 21 Savage, Jazmine Sullivan, Wiz Khalifa, Benny the Butcher, and Wale.

Since then, Ross has remained active through collaborations, business ventures, and high-profile appearances rather than traditional solo album cycles. In November 2023, he reunited with Meek Mill for Too Good to Be True, a joint album released through Gamma that paired MMG nostalgia with contemporary trap production. Featuring appearances from Future, Teyana Taylor, DJ Khaled, French Montana, and Shaquille O’Neal, the record reinforced Ross’ ability to operate as both curator and rap statesman while still appealing to core Southern hip-hop audiences.
