Chris Brown is ramping up the rollout for his 12th studio album BROWN, unveiling its star-studded feature list through a stylized black-and-white trailer that doubles as a visual statement. The 30-second clip, released ahead of the album’s May 8, 2026 drop, frames the project as both a sonic and aesthetic throwback to classic R&B eras.

Set inside a fictional venue dubbed the “House of Brown,” the teaser leans into 1950s and 1960s soul nightclub imagery. Artists appear in vintage formalwear, performing alongside live band arrangements and standing microphones, creating a cohesive retro narrative that aligns with the album’s broader homage to legacy R&B.

The feature lineup reflects a wide generational and stylistic range. Confirmed collaborators include NBA YoungBoy, Vybz Kartel, GloRilla, Bryson Tiller, Sexyy Red, Leon Thomas, Tank, Fridayy, and Lucky Daye.

The album spans 27 tracks, continuing Brown’s pattern of expansive releases. It follows 2023’s 11:11, which secured a Grammy win and marked a commercial resurgence. Several singles have already set the tone for the new era, including “It Depends” with Bryson Tiller, and the pop-leaning “Holy Blindfold.” His most recent release, “Fallin’” featuring Leon Thomas, arrived just days ago with a cinematic visual set in the 1930s, reinforcing the project’s recurring fascination with vintage aesthetics.

Beyond the album itself, Brown has outlined an ambitious live strategy. The co-headlining The R&B Tour (Raymond & Brown) alongside Usher is scheduled to launch in June 2026.
