Karol G is wasting no time beginning her next musical chapter. During her Viajando Por El Mundo TropiTour stop in Toronto on July 29, the Colombian superstar surprised thousands of fans by announcing her sixth studio album, NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO, confirming that the project will arrive on August 7 at midnight ET.

The reveal came during a landmark night at Rogers Stadium, where Karol G became the first female solo artist to headline the venue, adding another milestone to an already historic tour.

Addressing the crowd from the stage, Karol G explained that she had spent the past several months fully immersed in creating new music while preparing a special section of the tour built around her upcoming era. “It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you,” she said.

Moments later, the cover artwork appeared across the stadium’s giant screens for the first time. The artwork features a blue-toned portrait of the singer looking over her shoulder while wearing a black outfit, with her heart tattoo visible on her upper arm and the album title written in shimmering blue script.

Less than 24 hours later, Karol G officially confirmed the announcement on social media, writing, Y por fin me decidí ‘NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO’ próximo 7 de Agosto! The post immediately fueled excitement among fans, while pre-saves for the album quickly went live.

The announcement arrives just 14 months after Tropicoqueta, which was released on June 20, 2025. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and became the fourth all-Spanish-language album by a female artist to reach the top three of the Billboard 200, earning 57,000 equivalent album units during its opening week. The project later received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Album, while its breakout single “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” won Latin Grammy Song of the Year among its multiple nominations.

Although Karol G has yet to reveal the official tracklist, one song is already leading the campaign. “Matadora,” released as a surprise single on July 24, serves as the album’s lead single after making its live debut during the opening night of the TropiTour in Chicago.
