BLACKPINK kicked off 2026 by returning to the stage on January 16 for the first show of the year and the opening night of the final stretch of their Deadline World Tour. The K-pop supergroup performed to a packed Tokyo Dome in Japan, where they are set to play three consecutive nights over the weekend.

The Tokyo opener was especially memorable as it coincided with Jennie’s 30th birthday. To mark the occasion, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa surprised her with a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday,” creating an emotional moment that resonated with both Jennie and the crowd.

As expected, the concert showcased BLACKPINK at full force, with striking stage outfits, tightly choreographed dance breaks, and the signature energy that has defined the tour. While the overall setlist remained largely unchanged, several subtle updates were made to the members’ solo segments.

Lisa introduced a notable change by performing “Dream” live for the first time, replacing “Thunder” in her set. She also swapped “When I’m With You” for “New Woman.” Jisoo expanded her solo portion with the addition of “Your Love,” while Rosé updated her set by replacing “3am” with “Two Years.”

The Deadline World Tour marks BLACKPINK’s first all-stadium tour and their third global trek overall. It launched on July 5, 2025, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea and is scheduled to conclude on January 26 at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. Following the tour’s conclusion, the group will turn its focus to new music. BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback album, Deadline, is set for release on February 27, marking their first group project since the massive success of Born Pink.
