i-dle are officially gearing up for their next comeback. On June 7, the group announced their upcoming mini album We made, confirming a July 6 release date and marking their first project since 2025’s We Are.
The announcement arrived through a striking teaser poster shared across the group’s official social media channels. Rather than revealing track details or concept photos, the image featured a thermal-imaging aesthetic centered around a glowing heart, accompanied by the stylized album title We made. At the time of publication, Cube Entertainment has not unveiled a tracklist, lead single, album versions, or additional promotional content.
Even with limited information available, the reveal immediately sparked excitement among fans eager to see what direction the group takes next.
The comeback comes during a significant period for the group. Just a few months ago, i-dle released the single “Mono,” featuring Skaiwater, which showcased a more restrained and introspective side of their sound. Released on January 27, 2026, the track was supported by a week of performances across Korean music programs and served as the centerpiece of the group’s latest musical era.
News of We made also follows the unexpected cancellation of the North American leg of the Syncopation World Tour. On April 20, Cube Entertainment confirmed that all scheduled dates across the United States, Canada, and Mexico would no longer proceed. The agency described the move as a reorganization of the group’s international activities rather than a permanent withdrawal from the market, promising plans for future concerts and expanded activities.
The cancellation generated widespread discussion among fans after multiple Ticketmaster listings and venue pages began displaying canceled notices days before the official statement. While speculation ranged from ticket sales concerns to scheduling conflicts, Cube avoided providing a specific reason, instead emphasizing long-term planning and the goal of delivering stronger future performances.
One North American appearance remains on the calendar. i-dle are still scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31, less than four weeks after the release of We made.
The new project also arrives just over a year after We Are, the group’s eighth Korean EP and first release following their contract renewal with Cube Entertainment and official rebranding from (G)I-dle to i-dle. Released on May 19, 2025, the six-track project peaked at No. 2 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart and reached the top 10 of Billboard’s World Albums chart. It also marked the first time all members participated in both writing and composing the songs.
