K-pop group (G)I-DLE, now officially rebranded as i-dle, has returned with We are — a bold and unified statement that marks a new era for the five-member act. Released on May 19, 2025, under Cube Entertainment and produced by leader Soyeon, this eighth mini album is a tight six-track collection that leans into the group’s greatest strength: individuality within unity.
Departing from the self-exploration of their “I” series, this project centers on togetherness. The star-shaped cover art — made of five stylized “i” characters — symbolizes how each member shines on her own, yet burns brighter as one. Opening with two high-energy tracks, “Good Thing” and “Girlfriend,” the mini album balances its upbeat moments with emotional ballads.
