i-dle has officially kicked off its latest comeback with the release of We made, the group’s new mini album, now available on all major streaming platforms. Arriving alongside the project is the title track, “Gimme Dat Love,” which premieres with a visually striking music video built around a bold, seductive summer concept.
The five-track release marks another creative milestone for the group, with leader Soyeon once again taking the reins behind the scenes under her producer alias icebluerabbit. Following last year’s We Are, We made continues i-dle’s increasingly self-produced direction, with members playing a central role in shaping the music.
Serving as the centerpiece, “Gimme Dat Love” pairs an Afrobeats-inspired groove with sleek synth-pop production, favoring restrained instrumentation over oversized pop drops. Crisp percussion and spacious arrangements allow the vocals to take center stage, while the repetitive hook — “Come give me that, come give me that” — leans into rhythm and attitude instead of vocal theatrics.
Lyrically, the track blends confidence with emotional tension. Romantic desire is framed through vivid sensory imagery, balancing provocative metaphors with moments of vulnerability as the members shift between English rap verses and melodic Korean vocals.
Its accompanying music video expands on that atmosphere through cinematic storytelling. Neon-lit interiors, chaotic house parties, steamy sauna scenes and underwater sequences create a humid, dreamlike visual world that mirrors the song’s intoxicating energy.
Beyond the title track, We made includes “Morning,” “Crow,” “Love Is Pain,” and “Mono (feat. skaiwater),” with CD editions also featuring an exclusive alternate version of “Mono.” The project showcases the group’s versatility, moving between rock influences introduced by “Crow” and the more minimalist sound first explored on “Mono.”
