JYP Entertainment has confirmed that ITZY’s Yeji will have limited participation at the group’s Amsterdam concert on September 13 following the recent death of her grandmother. While Yeji will still perform during the main show, she will not take part in the VIP Soundcheck, Hi-Bye or Send-Off events.
In a notice released ahead of the concert, JYP Entertainment expressed its condolences to Yeji and her family and asked fans to offer their support during the difficult period. The agency also apologized to fans who had been looking forward to the scheduled activities, while confirming that Yeji’s participation in the main concert would go ahead as planned.

ITZY’s 3RD WORLD TOUR arrives at AFAS Live in Amsterdam tonight, with doors scheduled to open at 6 p.m. and the concert set to begin at 7:30 p.m. The date follows the European and UK leg’s opening show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on September 11 and comes ahead of stops in Paris on September 15 and Frankfurt on September 17.
For fans holding VIP packages, the change means that Yeji will be absent from three of the events traditionally attached to the concert experience. The leader will not appear at the pre-show Soundcheck, the Hi-Bye session or the Send-Off, but is expected to join Ryujin, Lia, Chaeryeong and Yuna for the main performance.
The Amsterdam show is part of the tour supporting ITZY’s recent music, including the Tunnel Vision project and Motto EP. The concerts have featured a mix of newer material, established hits such as “WANNABE” and “LOCO,” and individual stages from the members, giving the group room to balance its latest era with songs that have become staples of its live shows.
Yeji’s reduced schedule comes after a demanding period on the road. Earlier this year, she dealt with physical challenges that included a back injury and a stage fall, but continued performing as the tour progressed.
ITZY’s European run will continue after Amsterdam, with Paris and Frankfurt among the next stops before the tour moves on to later international dates.
