NMIXX are moving quickly into their next chapter. The JYP Entertainment girl group has announced their sixth EP, Strange Muse, set for release on October 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST, just one day after securing their first Daesang at The Fact Music Awards 2026.
The announcement comes 24 hours after NMIXX took home two awards at TMA 2026, including Sound of the Year (Daesang). The milestone adds another major achievement to an already active 2026 for the group and sets the stage for their next release less than six months after their previous EP.

Strange Muse follows Heavy Serenade, NMIXX’s fifth extended play, which arrived May 11 through JYP Entertainment. The six-track project was led by its title track and continued the group’s release schedule after the commercial performance of their 2025 debut studio album, Blue Valentine.
Blue Valentine was released in October 2025, and featured 12 tracks, including the title song. The album marked NMIXX’s first full-length studio project and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 177, giving the group another milestone on the U.S. albums chart.
Now, Strange Muse will introduce a six-track set that expands the group’s format with multiple unit songs. Tracks 4 through 6 are performed by different member combinations, while several NMIXX members are also credited with lyric contributions.
