Travis Scott has sparked speculation about new music after being spotted filming what appears to be a music video in New York City. A 14-second nighttime clip shared by RapTV shows the rapper performing energetically on top of a moving white Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon as it travels through a tunnel.
The footage, sourced from Instagram accounts @rawscooo and @abushi, captures Travis Scott standing on the vehicle with a “CABRIO” license plate, gesturing and delivering an animated performance while cameras roll. Although no official details about the shoot have been revealed, the clip has already generated excitement among fans anticipating the rapper’s next album.

The sighting comes as Scott continues to build anticipation for his highly anticipated new album, which he has been developing for approximately a year and a half. In June 2026, he told L’Officiel that he had been “mad inspired” while pushing his sound in new directions.
A month later, Travis Scott discussed his current musical influences in a Variety cover story, naming artists and groups including Parliament, Oasis, Van Halen, Don Toliver, Raphael Saadiq and Daft Punk. He specifically highlighted Van Halen’s “mega-choruses and hard bass lines,” pointing toward a broader range of influences informing his production. Whether those ideas will shape the music video currently being filmed remains unclear, but the shoot arrives amid growing anticipation for his next full-length project.
Travis Scott has also been expanding his presence across gaming and entertainment. In September, he teased what appeared to be a connection to Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, posting a cryptic image alongside a message declaring, “NOW ITS TIME. MY RETURN TO GAME GOTTA COME WITH RAGE AND ALOT OF DANCING LETS RIDE… J… O. H…..to be continued. SEE YALL SOON.”
That tease eventually led to the release of “Rhyno,” Scott’s collaboration connected to GTA VI, which debuted at No. 82 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart in late September with 1.583 million streams.
The possible new video also follows the enormous commercial run of Utopia. Released in July 2023, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 496,000 equivalent album units. Its supporting Circus Maximus Tour concluded in November 2025 after 88 shows across five continents, grossing $265.1 million from more than 2.1 million tickets and becoming the highest-grossing solo rap tour ever reported.
