Kendrick Lamar and SZA have officially made history. Their joint Grand National Tour has become the highest-grossing hip-hop tour of all time, earning a staggering $332.1 million in revenue and selling over 1.5 million tickets worldwide. The milestone also cements the tour as the highest-grossing co-headlining tour in music history — a remarkable feat for both Lamar and SZA.
Launched on April 19, 2025, in Minneapolis, the Grand National Tour marked Lamar’s first major run in support of his critically acclaimed sixth album GNX and SZA’s first all-stadium tour, following the success of Lana (Deluxe) — a reissue of her 2022 blockbuster SOS. Spanning 39 shows across North America, Europe, Australia, and South America, the tour has averaged an extraordinary $9.8 million per show with 46,000 fans in attendance each night.

The duo’s synergy was a key factor in their success. The Grammy-winning superstars joined forces on multiple tracks, from “All the Stars” and “Doves in the Wind” to “30 for 30” and “Luther.” Throughout the run, Kendrick and SZA made sure to give fans some surprises.
In fact, guest appearances added even more star power. Fans were treated to surprise performances by Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, Lizzo, Playboi Carti, and Baby Keem, among others. DJ Mustard, Doechii, and Argentina’s CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso joined as openers throughout different legs of the tour.
The tour’s success also drove both artists’ music back to the top of the charts. Following its kickoff, SOS and GNX simultaneously climbed to No. 1 and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. One standout moment came during the Seattle stop, which broke the record for the highest-grossing hip-hop concert ever, generating $14.8 million from over 60,000 tickets sold.
