The moment has finally arrived. Five years after their formation, fast-rising British girl group FLO released their debut studio album, Access All Areas, last Friday. The group—consisting of Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas, and Julian Downer—was formed in 2019 and gained recognition after their debut single, “Cardboard Box,” went viral. In 2022, they released their debut EP, The Lead, and won the Brit Award for Rising Star a year later. In 2023, FLO followed up with their second EP, 3 of Us, and began teasing their first full-length album.
A primarily R&B record, FLO aims to cement their place alongside iconic girl groups with Access All Areas. The trio described the album as “a labor of love,” adding, “To us, it represents our growth and dedication to making girl group history and creating a project we are truly proud to call our debut album.”
Three singles—“Walk Like This,” “Caught Up,” and “Check”—were released ahead of the album. Produced by Grammy-nominated MNEK, Access All Areas features 16 tracks and guest appearances from Cynthia Erivo and GloRilla.
