1. B’Day – Beyoncé

Queen B’s second solo studio album, ‘B’Day,’ was released on September 1st and was a massive success, debuting straight atop the Billboard 200 with over 541,000 units in its first week. The album features plenty of hit singles, such as ‘Irreplaceable’ and the duet with Shakira, ‘Beautiful Liar.’ ‘B’Day’ won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album in 2007.

2. Yours Truly – Ariana Grande

Marking the beginning of her incredible career, ‘Yours Truly’ was released on September 3, 2013. The album was originally announced as ‘Daydreamin’,’ named after one of the songs included in the album. However, Ariana Grande later renamed it to ‘Yours Truly’ because the album felt like a love letter. ‘Yours Truly’ features the single ‘The Way’ featuring Mac Miller, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their first top 10 hit. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album, Ariana Grande released a new edition titled ‘Yours Truly (Tenth Anniversary Edition.’

3. Night Visions – Imagine Dragons

In early 2012, Imagine Dragons started making a name for themselves in the industry with their debut single ‘It’s Time.’ So, it was time to make their mark in the music world, and that’s exactly what Imagine Dragons did with their debut LP, ‘Night Visions.’ The album secured global success, reaching the top 10 in 15 countries. The album features unforgettable hit singles like ‘Radioactive,’ ‘Demons,’ and ‘On Top of the World.’

4. Hollywood’s Bleeding – Post Malone

In 2019, Post Malone unveiled his third studio album, ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding.’ The album was supported by chart-topping singles ‘Circles’ and ‘Sunflower.’ It won the Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Album and the American Music Award for Favorite Album — Rap/Hip-Hop.

7. Honeymoon – Lana Del Rey

Released on September 18, ‘Honeymoon’ marked a return to the baroque pop sound of ‘Born To Die’ and ‘Paradise’ after Lana explored new sounds on her previous album, ‘Ultraviolence.’ At the time of its release, ‘Honeymoon’ was considered by many as Lana Del Rey’s best album.

8. Illuminate – Shawn Mendes

Following the success of his debut album ‘Handwritten,’ Shawn Mendes repeated that success with his second record, ‘Illuminate.’ The album debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned hit singles like ‘Treat You Better,’ ‘Mercy,’ and ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.’
