New Music Friday: Lady Gaga, JENNIE, J-Hope, & More!

It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!

The first Friday of March brings an impressive wave of new releases from some of the biggest names in the industry. Lady Gaga unleashes her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Mayhem—her first in five years. The album was preceded by the hit singles “Disease” and “Abracadabra,” as well as the record-breaking “Die With a Smile.” For this 14-track project, the pop icon collaborated with producers Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.

Jennie joins her BLACKPINK bandmates Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé in launching a solo career with the release of her debut album, Ruby. Released via Columbia Records, the LP blends multiple genres, showcasing both her vocal and rap skills. Ruby features 15 tracks, including “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” and “ExtraL,” along with collaborations from Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, Dominic Fike, Doechii, and FKJ.

K-pop enthusiasts are also treated to new music from BTS’ J-Hope, who teams up with Miguel on his new solo single, “Sweet Dreams.” This release follows closely on the heels of another recent collaboration, “LV Bag,” with Don Toliver. Additionally, J-Hope has embarked on his Hope on the Stage tour, where he has already performed “Sweet Dreams” live.

Noteworthy releases also come from Doechii, Elton John & Brandi Carlile, David Guetta, Daniel Seavey, Julia Michaels, Kelsea Ballerini, James Arthur, and more.
