Summer 2025 is around the corner, and it promises to be filled with bangers! Opening our weekly roundup of new releases is none other than the one and only Sabrina Carpenter. After the massive success of Short n’ Sweet, the Grammy-winning superstar returns with “Manchild,” a sharp and satirical pop track—classic Sabrina. The song, rumored to be inspired by her past relationship with actor Barry Keoghan, will be accompanied by a music video she teased earlier this week.
Mariah Carey has fans buzzing with the start of a new musical era. The pop icon releases “Type: Dangerous” this New Music Friday. The track marks her first major release since 2018’s Caution and appears to be the first step toward a highly anticipated new album, as she recently teased a mysterious audio file titled “T:D_MC16.mp3.”
Another long-awaited return comes from Lil Wayne, who drops his new album, Tha Carter VI. The LP marks the rapper’s first solo studio album of entirely new material since 2020’s Funeral. While the official tracklist remains under wraps, rumored features include Nicki Minaj, Drake, Eminem, MGK, and Miley Cyrus.
Finally, Addison Rae treats fans to her debut studio album, Addison. The record has been preceded by buzzy singles like “Diet Pepsi” and “Aquamarine” and embraces a synth-pop, Y2K-inspired sound. A music video for “Times Like These” will be released alongside the album.
