Suki Waterhouse has officially released her third studio album Loveland, arriving today, July 10, via Island Records. The 14-track project introduces one of her most ambitious creative eras yet, combining indie-pop songwriting with an immersive concept that extends beyond the music itself.
Built around themes of desire, reinvention, motherhood, and emotional transformation, Loveland follows her 2022 debut studio album I Can’t Let Go and 2024’s Memoir of a Sparklemuffin.
Fans can now stream Loveland across all major platforms, with the release arriving after months of carefully planned teasers and visual storytelling. Waterhouse previously described the record as a reflection of the distance between “a former self who felt most alive in romance, fantasy and momentum” and a present version of herself searching for something “steadier, more intimate and more true.”
The album’s rollout has been defined by its unconventional details, including a special vinyl edition that transforms the record into a playable board game. Rather than serving as a traditional collectible, the Loveland vinyl gatefold doubles as a “Game of Loveland,” designed to be played while the album spins, allowing fans to move through songs, roll dice, and interact with the music in a social setting.
The concept reflects the emotional foundation of the album, which explores the highs and complications of love, identity, and starting over. Across 14 tracks, Waterhouse blends personal reflections with cinematic indie-pop production, creating a project centered on connection and vulnerability.
Several songs from the project arrived before the album’s release, including “Back in Love,” “Tiny Raisin,” and “When I Get Drunk (I Want You Boy).” The latter, co-written by Waterhouse alongside Raj Jain and Michael Derenzo, captures the album’s more playful and seductive side, with the singer describing it as “an ode to an intoxicating kind of love and that feeling of chasing a thrill.”
Waterhouse also assembled a notable group of collaborators for Loveland, working with writers and producers including Amy Allen, Aaron Dessner, Joel Little, Dan Wilson, Jules Apollinaire, and Natalie Findlay.
The album arrives just days before Waterhouse launches The Loveland Tour 2026, which begins July 22 in Phoenix. The North American run will include major stops at venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits.
