You know you’re doing an exceptional job when an icon like Bad Bunny praises your work. That’s exactly what happened to Chappell Roan, who has captured hearts with songs like “Hot To Go!” and “Red Wine Supernova,” along with her unique persona—even impressing a heavyweight like the Puerto Rican superstar.

Fresh off the release of his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Bad Bunny sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss and break down the album. Speaking to the magazine, the 30-year-old artist revealed that a hairdresser on a movie set introduced him to Chappell’s music, and he was immediately impressed. “She has, like, a Lady Gaga, Lana [Del Rey], Sia vibe. She’s cool,” he said.

While fans eagerly await Chappell’s next album, Bad Bunny has already started the year strong with Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which made an immediate impact. In less than a week of tracking, the album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with 184,000 units sold and has already surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify.

The record showcases Bad Bunny’s deep connection to his Puerto Rican roots, blending elements of plena and salsa. One standout track, “DTMF,” is gaining significant traction, topping Spotify’s Daily Global Chart and earning over 10 million streams per day for the past two days.
