Bailey Spinn is entering a heavier chapter with “long sleeves in the summer,” a new collaboration with Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn. Released October 2, the emotionally charged rock ballad arrives alongside the announcement of Spinn’s sophomore album, death & devotion, due November 13 via AWAL.
The new track turns deeply personal material into a dramatic meeting point between Spinn’s increasingly heavy sound and Quinn’s unmistakable rock vocals. Inspired by struggles with self-image and mental health, “long sleeves in the summer” draws from lived experiences while taking sonic cues from Loathe, Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens.

Bailey Spinn describes the song as an honest rock ballad about the parts of personal struggle that can remain hidden beneath the surface. Its title itself carries that tension, pairing the ordinary image of wearing long sleeves during hot weather with the emotional weight behind concealing what someone is going through.
For Quinn, the collaboration adds another connection to the scene that has influenced Spinn’s evolution. The Sleeping With Sirens frontman joins a project that increasingly moves away from the pop-punk foundations of her 2025 debut album, loser, toward heavier rock and melodic metal.
The shift has been building throughout 2026. “homicide” introduced a biting, confrontational edge, while “critical” and “fear of going out” leaned into Spinn’s confessional songwriting. “voodoo” pushed further into eerie hard-rock territory before “start again,” produced by Scott Stevens of Shinedown, Halestorm and Daughtry, brought snarling guitars, thundering instrumentation and a more forceful vocal performance.
Those songs now lead into death & devotion, a 12-track album that brings several of Bailey Spinn’s recent releases together with new collaborations. The tracklist includes “start again,” “homicide,” “voodoo,” “critical” and “fear of going out,” alongside “pins and needles” featuring The Funeral Portrait and “paranoid” with Melrose Avenue.
The album is set to continue the sonic expansion that began with loser, which arrived in March 2025 and has generated millions of streams, including more than 13 million for fan favorite “happy ending.”
The new era also comes with a significant business move. Bailey Spinn recently signed a publishing deal with BMG, adding another major industry partnership to a career that has already expanded beyond recording and performing.
Her creative reach has expanded into broadcasting as well. Spinn launched the “Spinnin Out” podcast on idobi Radio this summer, with early guests including Waterparks’ Awsten Knight, DeathbyRomy, Sophie Powers, Scene Queen, LØLØ, Ellise and Tori Kravitz. The show continues weekly as Spinn balances music, touring and the next phase of her career.
That live schedule is already underway, with Bailey Spinn supporting Scene Queen and WARGASM on the METALICIOUS Tour. The run continues through October 25, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Orlando before the release of death & devotion arrives less than three weeks later.
