Bebe Rexha is setting the record straight. Earlier today, the pop singer shared a casual selfie on Instagram wearing official merch from BLACKPINK. The image quickly sparked speculation among fans, many of whom interpreted the post as a subtle teaser of an upcoming collaboration. Within hours, social media timelines filled with theories.

Rexha addressed the rumors directly on X. “No I don’t have a song coming with black pink,” she wrote plainly. “But my single ‘New Religion’ is coming this Friday March 6th. I’m just wearing the merch because I love them.”

The clarification effectively ended the latest wave of collaboration talk. It also redirected attention to her own rollout, which is currently in full motion.

Rexha is preparing to launch “New Religion,” the next single from her forthcoming visual album Dirty Blonde. The track arrives March 6 and follows “Çike Çike,” released last week as the project’s second single. Notably, “Çike Çike” was selected by fans through a voting system hosted on her official website.

While today’s rumor was short-lived, it did not emerge in a vacuum. Last summer, Rexha posted a series of studio photos soundtracked by BLACKPINK’s “Jump.” One image showed her holding a whiteboard that read “Write a great song” next to a drawn heart. The caption — “Bebe in your area” — was widely read as a nod to the group’s signature line, “BLACKPINK in your area.”

Speculation intensified further when a 2023 KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) registration listed a track titled “Fit For This,” crediting both Rexha and BLACKPINK. At the time, the listing fueled industry chatter about a potential cross-market release.

In her recent exchange on X, Rexha also addressed that song. “That’s a song I wrote a long time ago. But idk to be honest. I write so many songs. I have no idea,” she explained, suggesting that any previously discussed collaboration may have stalled or simply remained in demo form.
