Bebe Rexha is handing creative control to her fans. As she prepares to roll out her upcoming visual album Dirty Blonde, the pop star has launched a fan-voting initiative that allows listeners to choose her next official single.
The voting is live on her dedicated website, super.areudirty.com, where fans can rank tracks from the forthcoming project. The move is a notable shift from industry norms. Typically, artists follow a structured release schedule that leads to a full-length project, with two or three singles and accompanying music videos building anticipation. Rexha, however, is changing that formula.
The strategy is also the result of her current independent era. After parting ways with her previous major label, she is releasing Dirty Blonde through EMPIRE, giving her full creative control and allowing her to lean into a more direct-to-fan approach.
The album itself is ambitious in scope. Marketed as a full visual experience, Dirty Blonde features 13 songs, each accompanied by its own music video. Rexha previously revealed that all the visuals were filmed in just three days.
Now, fans are helping shape what comes next. Early voting trends show “Çike Çike” leading by a noticeable margin, with “New Religion” close behind. Other tracks in contention include “Sad Girls,” “I Like You Better Than Me,” “Time,” “$HIT,” “Nobody’s There,” “Hysteria,” “One Day,” “Nightfalls,” “Tokyo,” “The Way I Want You,” and “Drink and a Little Love.”
Rexha recently released “I Like You Better Than Me” on February 13, offering the first official preview of the project’s tone. Much like her earlier work, the song blends glossy pop melodies with personal lyricism. The voting platform also encourages fans to presave and preorder Dirty Blonde, though an official release date has yet to be confirmed.
