Cardi B paused her Little Miss Drama Tour stop in San Francisco on February 27 to address a situation unfolding in the crowd — and she did it in unmistakably Cardi fashion.
Midway through her set, the Bronx rapper noticed fans either fighting or on the verge of it. Instead of issuing a routine security warning, she stopped the music and spoke directly to the audience. Her message was clear, but the delivery was pure personality.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please don’t fight because when y’all fight… I’m nosy. I wanna see it! And that distracts me from the performance and I f*ck up,” she told the crowd.
The San Francisco date is part of Cardi’s first headlining arena run, the Little Miss Drama Tour, which launched earlier this year in support of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama? The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It later became the highest-certified female rap album of the 2020s.
Momentum around the tour has been strong. Surprise onstage appearances from artists such as Tyla and GloRilla have fueled viral clips and extended the show’s reach beyond the arena walls. At the same time, Cardi has been building anticipation for her third studio album. In recent Instagram Stories, she confirmed that “album three” is coming before the end of the year, revealing she now travels with a custom-built studio bus to record between stops.
