Benny Blanco is entering a new chapter with his upcoming solo album Hermoso, arriving August 14, 2026. The Grammy-winning producer launched the era on July 10 with “Joven y Salvaje” featuring Spanish rapper Bb trickz, while a detail in the album trailer has fans speculating that Selena Gomez could appear on the project.
The announcement marked the beginning of Blanco’s new solo rollout following the success of his 2025 collaborative album I Said I Love You First with Gomez. Released on March 21, 2025, that project became the biggest first-week album debut of both artists’ careers in the United States, opening at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Blanco introduced Hermoso with “Joven y Salvaje,” a track that translates to “Young and Wild” and features Bb trickz. The single arrived alongside an official music video directed by Jake Schreier, known for his work on projects including Thunderbolts and Beef. The visual embraces a colorful, cinematic style, with Bb trickz appearing as a racecar driver while Blanco leans into the song’s hypnotic modern disco influence.
Attention around the album quickly shifted toward a possible Selena Gomez appearance. In the trailer announcing Hermoso, fans noticed that Blanco appears to wear the same outfit he had on during a previous music video shoot with Gomez, leading to speculation that the pop star could be involved in the new record.
Neither Blanco nor Gomez has confirmed a collaboration, and the full tracklist remains under wraps. The cover artwork for Hermoso has already been revealed, showing Blanco wearing an oversized mask modeled after his own face.
