Since it began in September 2024, the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour has been one of the most successful runs of Eilish’s career. The trek, supporting her Grammy-nominated third studio album, has already shattered arena attendance records worldwide. In February 2025, Eilish broke Justin Timberlake’s 18-year record at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, drawing more than 21,000 fans in a single night. Later that year in Prague, she surpassed Metallica’s long-standing record at O2 Arena with over 20,200 attendees.
Beyond numbers, the tour has also made headlines for its environmental initiatives. In partnership with Reverb, Eilish has set up Eco Villages at venues like London’s O2 Arena, where fans can learn about sustainability and climate action. She has also encouraged arenas to go plant-based during her shows, reflecting her ongoing commitment to environmental activism.
The tour is named after Hit Me Hard and Soft, Billie’s critically acclaimed third album, released in May 2024 through Darkroom and Interscope Records. Co-written and produced with her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas, the project a massive success, topping charts in more than 20 countries. In the U.S., it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, with all ten tracks entering the Billboard Hot 100. “Birds of a Feather” became the album’s biggest hit, peaking at No. 2 on the Hot 100. At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, the album earned seven nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
