Charli xcx leads the nominations for the 2025 Brit Awards. The popstar is nominated in five categories, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“Brat”) and Song of the Year (“Guess”). Dua Lipa, The Last Dinner Party, and Ezra Collective closely follow with four nominations each. Other notable nominees include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Shaboozey, Central Cee, and Post Malone.
The BRIT Awards 2025 are gearing up to celebrate the best in British and international music on Saturday, March 1, at London’s O2 Arena. Comedian Jack Whitehall is making his return as host, taking over from Roman Kemp and Maya Jama. Whitehall, who last hosted the event in 2021, shared his excitement: “They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with The BRIT Awards. It’s my favourite night of the year, and I’m delighted to be invited back to host in 2025.” This year’s BRITs trophy has been designed by acclaimed British-Nigerian artist Gabriel Moses. Drawing inspiration from childhood sculptures, Moses incorporated rich textural tones to create a one-of-a-kind design.
