The biggest night in UK music is less than 24 hours away. Hosted by Jack Whitehall, the BRIT Awards 2025 will celebrate the outstanding achievements of British artists over the past year. Charli XCX steps into the night as the most nominated artist, having received five nods. Other notable nominees include Dua Lipa, who is the most nominated female artist in BRITs history, The Last Dinner Party, and The Beatles. The ceremony will also recognize the best international artist, group, and song of the year. Winner: “BRAT” – Charli XCX
It would be a surprise if Charli XCX didn’t take home the most prestigious award of the night. The 32-year-old had a massive breakout in 2024 with her critically acclaimed album BRAT, whose impact extended far beyond music, quickly becoming a cultural phenomenon. The album also secured commercial success, peaking at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.

Song of the Year
Winner: “Now and Then” – The Beatles
The legendary group released Now and Then as their final song in 2024, and its impact was immediate. It debuted at No. 42 on the UK Singles Chart after just ten hours of sales. The following week, it reached the top spot, becoming The Beatles’ first UK No. 1 song in 54 years since their 1969 single The Ballad of John and Yoko.

Artist of the Year
Winner: Charli XCX
Again, Charli had the biggest year of her career. BRAT spawned several hit singles, from Von Dutch to Apple, and its remixed version further cemented it as one of the biggest LPs of 2024. Charli has definitely been the most influential British artist of the past year.

International Artist of the Year
Winner: Sabrina Carpenter
It’s safe to say that Sabrina is the frontrunner in this category. The 25-year-old singer dominated the UK Singles Chart, landing three chart-topping hits—Espresso, Please Please Please, and Taste—and spending a total of more than 20 weeks at No. 1. She achieved notable success in the country, with Espresso ranking as the third best-selling single of 2024. At the BRITs 2025, Sabrina will also be honored with the Global Success Award.

International Song of the Year
Winner: “Beautiful Things” – Benson Boone
Benson Boone’s breakout hit was the best-selling single worldwide in 2024. In the UK, the song topped the Singles Chart and has already been certified 3× Platinum by the BPI for selling 1.8 million units.
