Cardi B and JT’s long-running feud has erupted once again, this time spilling across social media in a heated exchange that has captivated the rap world. The latest escalation unfolded on September 23—just days after Cardi B released her highly anticipated second studio album Am I The Drama?—with JT firing back aggressively on X (formerly Twitter).

JT Targets Stefon Diggs Allegations
The spark came when JT reposted a viral report alleging that NFL star Stefon Diggs had threatened to harm a man after an alleged sexual encounter. JT shared a video of Chris Blake Griffith, who claimed Diggs drugged him, exposed himself, and later tried to retaliate violently after being rejected.
JT captioned her repost with a direct attack on Cardi’s family: “CARDI B BABY FATHER A GAY MAN!!!!!!!!!! Not because of how he dress or express his self but because CHRIS said it out of his mouth!!!! JUSTICE FOR CHRIS I stand with the gays!!!!!” Her comments immediately sent shockwaves online.
Cardi B Fires Back
Cardi B did not stay silent. Minutes later, she fired back on X, dismissing Griffith’s claims and defending Diggs. “Chris lied because he was stealing and got caught.. there’s receipts for that. He lied on Gervonta Davis too and changed the story 1000 times,” Cardi wrote.
She then pivoted the conversation to JT’s personal life, making pointed allegations about her relationship with Lil Uzi Vert and their past: “I want justice for them babies ya man make you abort everytime… ask what he told me about how he felt when he wanted to see Britt in that court room and she didn’t show up or do I need to play the audio?? And don’t let me say what he was sayin about Roc Nation.. JUST UNGRATEFUL.”
Years of Tension Between Cardi and JT
This feud didn’t come out of nowhere. Cardi B and JT (Jatavia Johnson of City Girls) have had a complicated history dating back to their 2018 collaboration “Twerk.” While initially friendly, tensions rose over industry politics, label conflicts, and social media shade.
Their first major public clash came in 2022 when JT congratulated GloRilla on a chart milestone without acknowledging Cardi’s verse on “Tomorrow 2.” Cardi responded with insults, sparking a viral Twitter war that dragged in Nicki Minaj and led to accusations of ghostwriting, bullying, and career envy. Though both rappers later claimed to squash their issues, the truce has been shaky.
In 2024, JT appeared to throw new shade at Cardi on her solo album City Cinderella, while Cardi’s guest verses included subtle digs back. By the time Cardi released Am I The Drama? this month, fans were already on alert for subliminals.
Cardi B’s New Album Fanned the Flames
The tensions resurfaced with “Magnet,” a track from Cardi’s new album, where she appears to reference JT and her partner Lil Uzi Vert: “All that d** riding still ain’t get no feature a** bh / She just mad she got a n* she be sharing bags with / My n**** cheat but I don’t stick no dos in his a b*h.”
The bars quickly went viral, reigniting fan speculation about her ongoing beef with JT.
