On Saturday, November 1, stars from across the worlds of music, fashion, and film converged at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for the 14th annual Art+Film Gala, presented by Gucci. Co-chaired by Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, this year’s glamorous evening honored artist Mary Corse and filmmaker Ryan Coogler, celebrating the creative intersection between visual art and cinema. But while the event’s purpose was deeply artistic, it was the red carpet — led by singers like Doja Cat, Demi Lovato, and Adelá — that stole the spotlight.
Headlining the evening’s entertainment, Doja Cat stunned in a daring gold sequin gown that perfectly captured her sensual confidence. The form-fitting bronze-gold dress, designed by Gucci, featured a plunging neckline and a high side slit. Demi Lovato turned heads in a dramatic black-and-navy taffeta gown, exuding classic Hollywood elegance with a modern edge. Rising pop sensation Adelá brought edge and sophistication to the red carpet with a tailored black pantsuit that blended masculine sharpness with feminine allure.
This year’s LACMA Art+Film Gala continued its tradition of merging creativity across disciplines. Proceeds from the event support LACMA’s ongoing initiatives to make film an integral part of the museum’s programming, while funding exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational projects. Guests included SZA, Rina Sawayama, Troye Sivan, and Queen Latifah, all of whom brought their distinctive style.
