Manon Bannerman has returned to Weverse after six months away from the platform, giving KATSEYE fans their first direct update in months and immediately reigniting speculation about her future with the group. Her message was only two words, but for EYEKONS waiting for news about the singer, it was enough to spark excitement about a possible return.
On November 6, Manon posted a simple “hi friends.” There was no explanation, announcement or reference to KATSEYE, leaving fans to interpret the brief greeting for themselves. Reactions quickly spread across X, with supporters imagining the possibility of seeing the original six-member lineup together again. “WE ARE SO BACK,” one fan wrote, while another declared, “IT’S TIMEEEE!!! SHE’S COMING BACK!!,” borrowing Mariah Carey’s iconic holiday catchphrase.

The excitement comes after a prolonged period of uncertainty. On February 20, 2026, Manon and KATSEYE announced that the singer would step back from group activities for an indefinite period to prioritize her health and well-being. She subsequently became largely absent from social media, leaving fans with few updates about her situation.
Her last substantial message arrived in April, when she thanked supporters for their patience and reassured them that she was doing well. “HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon,” she wrote. An extended silence followed, including a six-month absence from Weverse that finally ended today.
Manon’s activity on Instagram has also attracted attention in recent days. The singer has shared several selfies on her personal account, @meretmanon, marking a noticeable change from her limited public presence during the hiatus.
Speculation had already been building since August, when Manon shared a series of heavily distorted Instagram Stories featuring static, blurred lights and glitch effects. Fans compared one image’s ceiling lights with rehearsal-room content posted by Lara and Daniela, wondering whether Manon might have been around the group behind the scenes. Those theories remained unconfirmed, but they kept hopes of a reunion alive.
KATSEYE has also continued to emphasize Manon’s place in the group’s story. At the Los Angeles premiere of KATSEYE: Wild Hearts, Lara confirmed that Manon would appear throughout the documentary, calling her “such an integral part of the journey of KATSEYE.” In Vanity Fair, she also pushed back against rumors of internal conflict, saying there was “nothing but love between us.”
The latest update arrives during another difficult week for the group. On November 5, KATSEYE announced that Megan is recovering from a concussion, forcing the postponement of the Detroit, Chicago and Minneapolis concerts on the WILD WORLD TOUR.
