Fans eager to secure tickets will need to pre-order Play for pre-sale access. UK fans must order through Amazon Music UK before 7 p.m. BST on September 7, while EU fans should order through Sheeran’s official EU stores before 3 p.m. BST on September 8.

This announcement follows the recent reveal of Sheeran’s Loop Tour 2026, which will take him across Australia and New Zealand from January to March. That run will mark his return Down Under after the record-breaking Mathematics Tour (2022–2025), which grossed over $650 million across 168 stadium shows worldwide.

With Play, Sheeran launches the first chapter of a new five-album series built on symbol-themed titles (Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind, Stop). Lead singles “Azizam” and “Sapphire” have already gained traction, with the latter peaking at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart and sparking buzz thanks to uncredited vocals from Indian superstar Arijit Singh. Two additional tracks have also been released: “A Little More” and “Old Phone.”
