Ed Sheeran has revealed that fans can expect a steady stream of new music in the coming weeks. During his appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, the Grammy-winning artist shared details about his next album and the unique way he plans to release it. Rather than launching the project with one traditional lead single, Ed said he will release songs every “two, three weeks,” building anticipation for the full album. “I didn’t want to just say, ‘Here’s the single,’ because the album is so broad,” he explained. “I thought, this is the album.”

The English singer-songwriter has already unveiled the first single, “Azizam.” The song, a heartfelt dedication to his wife Cherry Seaborn, has received mixed reviews. Some listeners didn’t connect with the track’s vibe, which explores new sonic territory by incorporating elements of Persian music. Others praised Ed’s new musical direction and are now eager to hear what he releases next.

In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Ed Sheeran revealed that his new album, Play, marks the beginning of the second chapter of his career. The LP is expected to drop later this year, but it seems fans won’t have to wait much longer for another new single.
