Eminem continues to cement his legacy as one of the most enduring and influential artists in modern music history. The rap icon has officially achieved another major milestone on Spotify: his 2010 collaboration with Rihanna, “Love the Way You Lie,” has surpassed 2 billion streams, becoming his sixth track to reach this rare benchmark. With this feat, Eminem becomes the first rapper ever to have six songs surpass 2 billion streams on the platform.
The chart-topping hit now joins an elite group of Eminem classics, including “Without Me,” “Lose Yourself,” “Till I Collapse,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and “Mockingbird.” Together, these songs span over two decades of musical dominance.

Released in July 2010 as part of Eminem’s Recovery album, “Love the Way You Lie” remains one of the most streamed and best-selling rap songs of all time. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks and went on to become Eminem’s highest-selling single, certified 13× Platinum by the RIAA. It also earned five Grammy nominations and dominated international charts in more than 20 countries.
More than a decade later, the song’s impact has only deepened. It remains a staple on fans’ playlists and continues to amass nearly 1 million streams daily. Its cinematic music video, starring Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, has also surpassed 3 billion views on YouTube.
This achievement follows another recent streaming milestone for Eminem. Just weeks ago, he became the first artist in history to have songs from four consecutive decades—the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s—each surpass one billion Spotify streams. That record was secured after his 1999 collaboration with Dr. Dre, “Forgot About Dre,” crossed the one-billion mark.
