Charlie Puth is officially entering a new chapter. The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer has announced his long-awaited fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, set to arrive on March 6, 2026, via Atlantic Records. The album marks Puth’s first full-length project in nearly four years.
To introduce the record, Puth released the album’s first single, “Changes,” an uplifting and nostalgic track that embodies the heartfelt storytelling and melodic precision that have defined his career. Produced alongside BloodPop, the song draws inspiration from ‘80s icons like Steve Winwood and Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” combining shimmering synths, warm piano chords.

“Changes” arrives with an official music video directed by Charlotte Rutherford, blending retro aesthetics with tender glimpses of Puth’s real life. In a touching moment, the video features a cameo from his wife, Brooke Sansone, and concludes with the couple revealing they are expecting their first child.
The upcoming album Whatever’s Clever! will include 12 new tracks, though the full tracklist remains under wraps. Early descriptions hint at a mix of playful pop experimentation and stripped-back ballads. The project follows his 2022 album CHARLIE, which featured hits like “Left and Right” with BTS’ Jung Kook and “Light Switch,” and debuted in the Billboard 200 Top 10.
