Set for release on March 6, 2026, via Atlantic Records, Whatever’s Clever! marks a new creative chapter for the artist. Puth introduced the album with “Changes,” a warm and uplifting single that leans into ’80s pop influences. Created with BloodPop, the track blends shimmering synths and soft piano chords, drawing inspiration from Steve Winwood and Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature.”
The single arrived with a Charlotte Rutherford–directed music video that includes a brief cameo from Puth’s wife, Brooke Sansone. It concludes with the couple sharing the emotional news that they are expecting their first child.
While the full tracklist for Whatever’s Clever! has not yet been revealed, fans are now eager to know which artists will appear among the seven collaborations. Throughout his decade-spanning career, Puth has teamed with the likes of Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, and Wiz Khalifa.
The new album follows 2022’s CHARLIE, which delivered hits such as “Left and Right” with Jung Kook and “Light Switch,” and secured a Top 10 debut on the Billboard 200.
