GloRilla is closing out the year with new music. The Memphis rapper has announced two new singles, “March” and “Special,” arriving this Friday, December 5. She unveiled the news across her social platforms, sharing a brief snippet of both tracks that immediately sparked excitement among fans.
This isn’t the first time GloRilla has chosen December as a moment to drop fresh material. Last year, she teamed up with Kehlani for the festive collaboration “Xmas Time,” a seasonal track that showcased a lighter, more melodic tone.
The announcement follows months of speculation. Back in August, GloRilla teased unreleased music with a cryptic video showing her dancing, relaxing in a bathtub, and singing along to an unheard track. The clip ended with the caption “Do What’s After February,” prompting fans to guess that a song titled “March” was on the way. Now, the track is finally set to arrive.
While 2025 has been relatively light on solo releases for the rapper, she has stayed busy through a string of high-profile collaborations. She recently appeared on J-Hope’s “Killin’ It Girl,” Travis Scott’s “Shyne,” and Summer Walker’s “Baller.” Her most recent solo single, “Typa,” dropped in June.
The new singles also arrive after a defining period in GloRilla’s career. Last summer, she was honored with the BMI Impact Award for her contributions to hip-hop—a milestone that highlighted her rapid ascent. The recognition came less than a year after the release of her debut album, Glorious, which dropped in October 2024 to critical acclaim.
Glorious marked a breakthrough moment, earning Album of the Year nominations at both the BET Awards and the NAACP Image Awards. It produced several hits, including the vibrant “TGIF,” which peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as “Hollon.” The album featured collaborations with Latto, Sexyy Red, Megan Thee Stallion, and gospel luminaries Kirk Franklin and Kierra Sheard. Following its release, GloRilla embarked on her Glorious Tour from March through July 2025, closing with a sold-out hometown show in Memphis.
