Miley Cyrus returns to the Golden Globes nominations for the second year in a row. In 2025, she was recognized for “Beautiful That Way” from The Last Showgirl, a track co-written with Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li. This year’s nod marks her third Golden Globe nomination overall. Cyrus first entered the race in 2009 with “I Thought I Lost You” from Disney’s Bolt, which she co-wrote and performed alongside John Travolta.
Another major contender is “Golden” from Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters. The nomination extends the song’s remarkable momentum throughout 2025. “Golden” became a cultural phenomenon, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Grammy nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Beyond the Best Song category, several high-profile stars also earned recognition at the 2026 Golden Globes. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both received nominations for their performances in Wicked, with Grande up for Best Supporting Actress and Erivo competing for Best Actress. Selena Gomez also scored a notable placement, landing her fifth Golden Globes nomination—this time for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
