Gracie Abrams celebrated the eve of a new era with an intimate performance in New York City. On July 14, 2026, the singer-songwriter took over the iconic Bowery Ballroom for a free, one-night-only show, giving fans an early taste of her upcoming album Daughter from Hell just three days before its official release.
The exclusive concert featured a carefully curated mix of brand-new material and fan favorites from The Secret of Us, offering one of the first live previews of the record.
Abrams opened the evening with “Death Wish,” immediately setting the emotional tone before moving through a series of songs from Daughter from Hell. The performance included “Broke My Heart,” “Hit the Wall,” “Imaginary Friend,” “Minibar,” “Good Reason,” “The Knife,” “Humming,” “Look at My Life,” and the album’s title track, “Daughter from Hell.”
The Bowery Ballroom appearance arrives during the final stretch of the rollout for Daughter from Hell, which will be released on July 17 through Interscope Records. The album follows Abrams’ critically acclaimed 2024 project The Secret of Us and has steadily built momentum through a string of successful singles.
Lead single “Hit the Wall” reached No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Look at My Life” debuted at No. 54 earlier this week, extending Abrams’ growing chart success. She also recently previewed “Good Reason,” adding another layer of anticipation before the album’s arrival.
Excitement surrounding the project increased even further after Olivia Rodrigo shared during Spotify’s Countdown To interview that “Death Wish” is currently her favorite song from the album, praising its songwriting and calling the lyrics “perfect.”
The showcase also serves as a preview of what’s ahead later this year. Abrams announced the Look at My Life Tour in May, with the North American run scheduled to support Daughter from Hell following its release.
