It seems we won’t have to wait much longer for new music from Gracie Abrams. The Grammy-nominated star performed last night alongside longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner at the Amex Member Week event, treating the crowd to her biggest hits, including “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.” However, she had more in store to make the night even more memorable—she mentioned a new song, “It Doesn’t Sit Right,” hinting at an upcoming release.

This revelation comes shortly after Gracie teased new material on her Instagram Story. On March 11, she shared a series of snippets, fueling excitement among fans. “Now I’m just organizing and going through sketches,” she wrote. “I won’t play any of this now.” She also revealed that she recently recorded her favorite song ever, adding, “It is my favorite song we’ve ever made. I think.”

Gracie released her sophomore album, The Secret of Us, in June 2024. The album achieved significant commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, marking her first chart-topping album. In the UK, The Secret of Us also debuted at No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart, becoming her first No. 1 album there as well.

Meanwhile, Gracie remains focused on her live performances. Last week, she wrapped up the European leg of The Secret of Us Tour and is now gearing up for the Asian leg, set to begin on April 3 in Singapore. She will then spend May performing across major venues in Australia. The Secret of Us Tour will continue through the summer with another European run before concluding with a final stretch in North America.
