Harry Styles is easing into his next chapter with characteristic candor, offering fans a glimpse into the personal moments that shaped his upcoming album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. While promoting his new single “Aperture,” the singer explained that the album’s title emerged organically after spending extended time in Italy, where affection is woven into daily life.

Speaking on Hits Radio, Styles traced the phrase “kissing all the time” to simple observation rather than concept-driven branding. He described being surrounded by Italians over the past year and noticing how naturally physical closeness and affection appear in everyday interactions. “I spent a lot of time with Italians the last year or so, and I mean they’re kissing all the time,” Styles said. “It’s just art imiting life.

That sense of intuition also guided his decision to return with new music. Styles admitted he had been sitting with the album for some time, resisting any pressure tied to release cycles or expectations. Instead, he waited until the music felt finished and lived-in. Only then did the excitement return. When the songs began to feel ready to share, the timing fell into place. “It was like ‘ok the music’s ready. I feel really excited about it. I’m feel excited to play it to people’ and that’s make me excited and that felt like a really good reason for like the timing to be tight of putting it out.

On BBC Radio 2, he expanded on how “Aperture” became the final piece of the album and, unexpectedly, its mission statement. The track centers on openness, growth, and the willingness to accept transition. Styles described the album as an exercise in acknowledging flaws, recognizing mistakes, and allowing change to happen rather than resisting it. That mindset, he said, shaped both the song and the wider project.

Released on January 23, “Aperture” marks Styles’ first new music since Harry’s House in 2022 and introduces a more electronic, techno-disco palette. Executive produced by longtime collaborator Kid Harpoon, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally arrives on March 6, 2026, via Columbia and Erskine Records.
