HUNTR/X continue their record-breaking streak on the Billboard Hot 100. The trio’s breakout single “Golden,” from the hit Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, has now logged its fourth week at No. 1, tying the record set by Destiny’s Child’s 2000 smash “Independent Women Part I.” Both songs now stand as the longest-running No. 1 hits by a girl group in the 21st century. Notably, Destiny’s Child’s iconic hit also spent seven weeks atop the chart in 1999, remaining the longest-running girl group No. 1 of all time with a total of 11 weeks.

The track’s success also reflects the cultural wave behind KPop Demon Hunters. The film has made history on the charts, becoming the first soundtrack ever to generate four simultaneous Hot 100 top 10 hits. Alongside “Golden,” other standouts include Saja Boys’ “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop,” plus HUNTR/X’s own “How It’s Done.”
This week’s Hot 100 top 10 also saw Sabrina Carpenter debut “Tears” at No. 3, while another track from her new album Man’s Best Friend landed in the top five, as former chart-topper “Manchild” rebounded to No. 4.
